BSN Posse have been on my radar for a good while now and I can't believe I only just bought this EP now. It's just got so many sick tunes! Don't take my word for it though. LISTEN. Buy it.
Favorite track: BSN Posse - Hey, I Love Your Smile.

This new EP from Bsn Posse is probably the best one so far. With this Ep, I believe, that this two guys are the footwork reference in Europe. Full support and many thanks from UK.

The second official Iberian Juke release comes from the local duo BSN Posse, main reference for footwork sounds in Spain. After their debut album “Forever” last year for Slime Recordings, one of the best electronic albums of the year, and with several EPs on their back for labels like Modern Ruin (UK) or Freshmoon (USA), the duo from Málaga is making use this time of their more sentimental side, linking the original footwork roots with their characteristic and personal touch.
The 6 tracks that compose #UOAI have a special significance for them, with influences from the 90’s electronic music (“I Love Your Smile”, “Chicago”), to modern jazz (“Don’t Leave Me Girl”), hip hop or R&B (“I Can Feel Your Energy”) and even flamenco (“Te Camelo”), genre that is an important part of their culture and as they say, “has a strong relationship with footwork music because of its intrinsic pattern and the dance focusing on the feet movement”.
We can highlight the track “#UOAI” in collaboration with Stayhigh that gives name to the EP and, as they explain, “it’s a feeling, a lifestyle, a state of mind. It emerged from the good feeling, the magic of the night and the special Company of our brothers Chelis and Woodhands, thanks to the track "Brighter Dayz" produced by DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, who sampled the vocals of the anthem "Brighter Days" by Cajmere”. A small tribute to the big driver of this genre DJ Rashad, who unfortunately passed away almost two years ago.
#UOAI is a clear declaration of intentions: footwork is not a passing fad. “It’s a genre that will persist because of its importance and relevance for many people around the world”, as it happened with them. “The culture that exists around this music is what it has allowed its growth and thanks to this we can enjoy a small part of Chicago in every corner of the world”.
